Orders and Delivery
Bare Mum is based in Sydney, Australia, but we ship to mamas all over the world. You may experience longer delivery times when ordering from overseas and other remote areas, but we will always do our best to expedite the dispatch of your order and minimise any delay. All Bare Mum online shipping is carbon neutral.
We offer free (standard) shipping for domestic orders over $99. Please note that the free delivery thresholds must be met before shipping costs are calculated and after any discounts are applied. For all other domestic and international orders, shipping costs will be calculated at checkout.
If you need to change, cancel or make any modifications to your order, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@baremum.com.au. Please include your full name and order number in the subject line for us to process your inquiry as quickly as possible. We strive to process all orders within 1-2 business days and can only accommodate changes to your order if the package has not already been dispatched from our warehouse. We will do our best to respond to your request before your order goes out.
All our orders are usually processed and shipped within 48 hours. You will receive a shipping confirmation email as soon as your order has been processed. You can track your order via the tracking number provided on this email.

Domestic Shipping
Express Post (within Australia) takes up to 1-2 business days.
Standard delivery (within Australia) takes up to 3-5 business days.
Standard delivery to Western Australia takes up to 4-6 business days. Delivery to remote areas may take longer.

International Shipping
International shipping can take anywhere from 5-21 days depending on which country your order is being delivered to. Orders may be subject to delays in customs pending particular items. Should there be any delay in your order you will be notified via the email you have provided.
International orders are shipped at your own risk, damaged items delivered through international shipping methods will not be replaced or refunded.
In the unlikely event you don’t receive an order confirmation via email shortly after you have completed your order, please reach out to us at hello@baremum.com.au.
Once your order is processed, you will receive a shipping confirmation, through which you can check the status of your delivery.

Payments & Returns
You will receive an order confirmation on the email you have registered at check out once your order has been approved and processed.
Once you have placed your order we will hold payment, but we won't deduct the amount until the parcel has left our warehouse. In the unlikely event that your purchase did not go through and a payment holding has been made in your bank account, the reserved amount will be released within 1-5 business days.
We accept most payment methods. Please select your country at checkout to find out which specific payment methods are available in your region.
Card Payment
You can pay for your purchase with VISA, MasterCard, or AMEX. When you pay with a card, the payment is handled by our payment service provider to guarantee efficient and secure payment.
PayPal
PayPal is an easy and secure payment option. There is no additional fee when paying with PayPal.
Afterpay
You can pay for your purchase in 4 instalments over 6 weeks. You'll pay your first instalment at the time of purchase, and the remainder every two weeks.
Your payment information is personal and will not be visible to us, neither can we in any way store this information.
The account information you enter upon checkout is encrypted and sent directly to the payment service provider so only you have access to this information.
First and foremost, please double-check your card billing details. If your payment is still not going through, reach out to us at hello@baremum.com.au and we will help you process your order as soon as possible.
As a growing environmental concern, we aim to minimise exchanges and returns by continuously improving our products and the information available on our website. Of course, occasionally you might find that a product doesn’t suit you or isn’t exactly what you expected, in which case you will have 30 days to return it after purchase.
Exchanges
Mums who had an emergency c-section and received a Vaginal Birth Recovery Kit can claim a free exchange of their unused/unopened Perineal Restorative Foam for a Skin & Scar Oil within three months of purchase. Please email us at hello@baremum.com.au to arrange. Domestic orders only.
Unless you qualify for the above, we unfortunately don’t offer exchanges on our products, but feel free to return your unused/unopened product(s) and place another order if you’re looking for something else.
Returns
All returned items must be unused, unopened and undamaged, with all labels and original packaging included. You are responsible for ensuring that the consignment is not damaged or lost when returning it to us. For hygienic reasons, underwear is considered final sale.
Unless the return is due to an error on our behalf, you must wear the cost of shipping the returned package.
As soon as we have received the returned package at our warehouse we will refund your order. It usually takes around 1-7 business days for the payment to be visible on your account.

Claims
We guarantee that the goods you receive are flawless when shipped. Should you receive a faulty product, please contact us via email as soon as possible and provide a detailed description of the fault with a photo showing the fault. We will get back to you with information on how to proceed with the claim.

Our personal care and wearable products are thoughtfully designed by experts to deliver simple yet effective solutions. We took harsh, clunky, and often impractical products and re-engineered them into modern, easy-to-use products that make sense so new mums can focus on motherhood’s precious moments. From evidence-based research and design-led functional products, to our choice of premium materials, we maintain high-quality standards throughout every stage of our product development. Every item we make is made to serve a purpose or several, in a design and quality that stands the test of time, so you can re-use your favourite products indefinitely.
Our skin is the largest organ we have and a porous one, so our recovery begins with the skincare we apply on our bodies. Our skincare products are 100% all-natural, organic whenever possible, and hypoallergenic for sensitive skin. We have meticulously selected the highest quality ingredients and ethically sourced these locally to create high efficacy formulations for prompt and safe healing. Our products are free from any potential harmful ingredients like alcohol, parabens, mineral oils, animal-derived ingredients, artificial fragrance or colour. We design our formulas and packaging to be kind to your body and our planet.
All our products are 100% vegan and cruelty free. We do not use animal-derived ingredients and only test our products on new mums. We also banned from our formulations any ingredient known to be harmful to you or the environment.
Our products are naturally powered by plants, and our ingredients hand-selected for their unique therapeutic properties. We have banned hormonal disruptive and other proven-harmful additives from our formulas to create the safest products for you.
Our products are formulated to be hypoallergenic, kind to sensitive skin, especially those prone to allergies, though our products can be used on all skin types.
We do, however, believe that everyone is unique and therefore, your skin may respond better to one product over another. We know it is scientifically impossible to claim a product as a cure for all skin issues. We guarantee that we selected some of the highest-quality ingredients, and intentionally formulated each product to deliver the desired results.
All our products have been through various tests to ensure shelf life of up to 12 months after having been opened / put to use.
All of our skincare products are developed and made in Australia, using locally sourced natural ingredients. Our personal care and wearable products are developed in Australia and produced in China.
All of the suppliers and partners we work with must share our values around environmental and social responsibility and comply with our Code of Conduct around sustainability, ethical production, and quality requirements.
Most of our products and packaging are designed to be used and reused – over and over again – and when they are not, we make sure that they are made of sustainable materials that can be easily and responsibly disposed of. All our boxes are made in eco-friendly cardboard that are 100% recyclable and our bottles are made in endlessly recyclable glass or plastic.
